Future-proof REA JET Coding and Marking
Solutions for the Woodworking Industry

Muehltal, April 23, 2015 - Hardly any product leaves the production today without being marked. This is also true for natural materials such as wood. The requirements for processors and manufacturers to mark their products with IPPC- and CE-logos, as well as with product-specific variable data are constantly growing. Further to that the marking has to be done economically, sometimes in harsh industrial environments.

At the Ligna show in Hanover (Hall 27, Booth E10), the German manufacturer REA Elektronik will be presenting marking systems that, in addition to being well-proven and innovative, are completely maintenance-free, future-proof and ready for Industry 4.0. These marking systems are perfectly suited for machine builders who also want to retrofit the printer into the production.

REA Elektronik GmbH is not only prepared for the needs of the timber industry today, but is also continually planning for future needs and requirements.  Information directly printed on wood is not only read by people, but also increasingly by cameras and scanners, especially in highly cross-linked production and logistics processes.

The high-resolution direct marking of machine-readable codes is becoming increasingly important in the timber industry. In the field of code verification, REA is recognized as a specialist with its REA VERIFIER product line. We provide a unique benefit by offering state of the art printing solutions as well as affordable systems for the quality check of codes in compliance with standards from one single source.

An ultra-modern, completely maintenance-free, network and integration-oriented generation of ink jet printers as well as laser based marking systems will be presented at this year´s LIGNA show (Hall 27, Stand E10) in Hanover. Besides the newest technology REA has developed, the will also be displaying their long-established marking technologies in the timber industry such as dispensing labels, the printing of logos and texts using the widespread large character drop-on-demand printing technology. The engineers at REA specialized in the timber industry are experienced to respond to customer needs and wishes. In addition to the standard product portfolio REA offers customer-specific projects.
