State-of-the-art coding & marking technology
makes every component unique

Mühltal, Oktober 10, 2016 – The demand for individualized codings and markings of sheet metal products and semi-finished products is increasing enormously and is becoming a decisive competitive advantage for manufacturers and finishing companies. The trend is clearly towards machine-readable codes as a basis for traceability and the optimization of processes within production and logistics. For the specific requirements of the metal-working industry, REA JET developed state-of-the-art coding and marking solutions, which are distributed worldwide.

As a full-range supplier of coding and marking systems, REA JET provides various suitable solutions especially for metallic surfaces to be printed contact free with variable data. In addition to alphanumeric information and logos, machine-readable 2D codes are finding their way into production and processing within the metal industry. Large amounts of data can be placed within smallest spaces. Thanks to individualization, products are becoming unique and can be tracked and identified globally from everywhere as well as locally within the production processes. Complaints can be limited, recalls can be conducted specifically and remain manageable. Automatized readable codes form the basis for process optimization. They are used to control and optimize warehousing, manufacturing and logistics. Thus, processes can be automatized, efficiency can be increased and costs can be reduced.

REA JET provides inkjet printers with special inks, which can be used for coding and marking of oily surfaces. Spray Mark Systems apply colored markings, big prints as well as 2D codes, which are clearly legible from great distance. For areas which allow gravures, REA provides modern laser technology for captive coding. State-of-the-art and intuitive REA control concepts allow the cross technology operation of various technologies, such as ink and laser. This is realized via a uniform user interface, which makes it easy for the user.

REA JET laser and ink systems are ready for industry 4.0 and can be integrated easily into machines and systems. Thanks to the print head’s and controller‘s compact dimensions, they can be integrated even in smallest spaces. That makes it first choice for integrators and systems engineers.

During this year’s fair trade EuroBLECH in Hannover, REA JET presents robust solutions for coding and marking of every phase within the sheet metal process.
